Family of Five
Last month I got to spend time with a wonderful family at Whitewater, (yes the buzzards were still in full force, but the kids chased them off this time!). Besides the fact that the humidity was crazy, the morning was beautiful for their session. I showed them around a few places at the park, & I think we got some beautiful family shots & individuals of the kids.
All the kids were so well behaved and after an initial shyness warmed up to me & the camera. Plus when the younger two found out we were heading to the playground they perked up a bit more. (The plus side to a park!)
Anyway, late again on blogging, but loving these photos still. I’m working on another blog post for right after this so I can start getting caught up here.
Have a great weekend!

Six Under Ten
Well it looks like I need to play catch-up again. I still plan to keep each session to a separate post since I have lots to show, but I’ll try to get all caught up again soon!
I’ll start today with a session from last month with 6 adorable, and pretty well-behaved, kids! The older boys tried to show off a bit for the camera by climbing on fences, playing with their swords, and making silly faces. Even though it was a really hot day we found some shade & made it work. I loved that the family brought over a tractor to have them all on!
Oh.. And can you believe Chloe turned 1 that weekend?? This is the link to her newborn session and the link to her 7 month session. Anyway, this post has just a few of my favorites from the day with this family.
Happy Thursday!

John Deere Baby

Little Samuel came by a couple weeks ago for a 6 month session. He was absolutely adorable & hardly made a peep! We started in the studio to mimic some of the shots of his older brother, then we headed out to Whitewater State Park since it was a gorgeous, and a surprisingly not humid, day. We found a nice shady area but were nearly scared off by at least 20 buzzards in the area, (luckily they didn’t try to bother us, only when I was on the grass too did they inch closer!).
Even though I’m behind getting this posted, I wanted to show a couple of my favorites of his session. Again, he was just perfect for us! I’m still surprised with how well he was holding himself up at so young an age!

For Their Mother

In my rush to get things done & organized before I left for my trip two weeks ago I neglected to update my blog with my recent sessions and even neglected to post that I was going to be out of town! I can’t believe I did that one! I even had all the pictures ready to put up & simply didn’t write up my post & hit publish.

So here I am doing that now! These 3 sisters stopped in to have a photo session with me as a gift to their mom for Mother’s Day. We strolled around the courthouse then did just a couple minutes in the studio as well. It was a gorgeous day & the main problem was the heavy winds. Luckily we got some great shots without the hair in the face!

Anyway, I’ve been back to work this week even though I’m battling some strange bug since I’ve been home, & will try to get the rest of my posts caught up soon!
