Playing On The Farm
In June I got to photograph little Samuel at the park, (here’s the link to that session). Then a few weeks ago I went out to their house and got to photograph his older brother David. He was so cute and was hardly shy to start with. He just grabbed my hand and showed me around his farm and told me stories as we walked around. He was so serious.
It was crazy humid, so a little orneriness was understandable that afternoon, but once we decided to do the puppy shots the smiles came right out since we were being silly. He told his mom and I before she brought the puppy over that he doesn’t behave. I guess he thought we were crazy for wanting photos of the two of them together, (& thinking it would work!).
Anyway, David was just as cute as his brother and I was glad I could go out to their home to meet him. He even took me to show me his farm toys and show me his room. Definitely a cutie!
Again, have a great weekend! Be sure to check out my previous post for a family of five I photographed recently.

Family of Five
Last month I got to spend time with a wonderful family at Whitewater, (yes the buzzards were still in full force, but the kids chased them off this time!). Besides the fact that the humidity was crazy, the morning was beautiful for their session. I showed them around a few places at the park, & I think we got some beautiful family shots & individuals of the kids.
All the kids were so well behaved and after an initial shyness warmed up to me & the camera. Plus when the younger two found out we were heading to the playground they perked up a bit more. (The plus side to a park!)
Anyway, late again on blogging, but loving these photos still. I’m working on another blog post for right after this so I can start getting caught up here.
Have a great weekend!

Six Under Ten
Well it looks like I need to play catch-up again. I still plan to keep each session to a separate post since I have lots to show, but I’ll try to get all caught up again soon!
I’ll start today with a session from last month with 6 adorable, and pretty well-behaved, kids! The older boys tried to show off a bit for the camera by climbing on fences, playing with their swords, and making silly faces. Even though it was a really hot day we found some shade & made it work. I loved that the family brought over a tractor to have them all on!
Oh.. And can you believe Chloe turned 1 that weekend?? This is the link to her newborn session and the link to her 7 month session. Anyway, this post has just a few of my favorites from the day with this family.
Happy Thursday!

My Newest Cousin

On June 23th a new baby was born in my family! Last week I got to head over to their home, (gorgeous space & big windows!), and photograph Tori at 13 days old. She was absolutely perfect and hardly made a peep until we started changing her. She even gave us quite a few smiles, (mostly when I’d move the bean bag or turn my head for a second), and I caught a few on camera!
In the midst of doing other work this past week I’d sneak some time to mess with these photos, and now I’m getting their gallery all uploaded for them as I write this. So while that’s uploading I wanted to post a few of my favorites!! I had a hard time narrowing it down to 3 or 4 favorites, so I’m showing a couple extra, (and even then I have more favorites! I think it is harder since she’s related!).

Isn’t she cute? She’ll be 3 weeks old tomorrow!! Anyway, Happy Tuesday! Be sure to check out my previous post that I made today with 3-month-old Grady!!
